Al Shindagha Museum
We were commissioned by GSM to develop three apps destined for twenty screens integrated to furniture at the Musée Al Shindagha Museum in Dubai. The exhibition is about Dubai and its people’s history.
One of the apps recounts the story of certain distinct features of Dubai and its people. Optimized for Surface Pro tablets, the app appears as a long scrolling page equipped with precise animations all along the rolling out. The app is impressingly fluid and its success rests upon graphic details integrated rigorously integrated by our team.
Another app allows visitors to take part in the exhibition and share their story, selecting an element best representing themselves. A camera on place allow them to take a portrait to be shared.
Each of these apps were developed with the most recent web-based technologies. Furthermore, interactives were integrated in both english and Arabic.
To ease up the installation process, apps using video were delivered with an integrated compressor. The team can then switch videos quickly, knowing the app will take care of converting appropriately. One less thing to worry about!
