Vithèque

We created an online viewing platform named Vithèque for Vidéographe, containing one of the richest video collection in Canada. Vithèque is home to more than 2000 videos from 800 different artists. 

The Vithèque platform allows users to access video on demand. Various types of account enable access to different content. There are user, professional and institutional accounts. Institutional accounts have access to illimited content through an IP address connexion. We connected Vithèque to the API of Stripe in order to process payments. 

The CMS allows the simple modification of any database’s field in order to give as much flexibility as possible to the archivist. Video content is compatible to MARC 21 standards so that it can be communicated through the whole institution network: libraries, universities, etc. Movies’ index cards can also be exported in PDF.
